This Is Me
I’m Jac – language and education are my passion.

With experience in language teaching, developing innovative educational projects, and supporting international students, I help people use language as a key to new opportunities – and to live between cultures with confidence and enrichment.
My Story
I discovered early on that languages are more than just words – they are bridges between cultures, people, and ideas. Born in China, I have lived and learned across different countries and languages, and experienced how inspiring intercultural encounters can be.

I studied German Studies at the Shanghai International Studies University and am now completing my Master’s in German as a Foreign Language: Cultural Mediation at the Free University of Berlin. A turning point was my Erasmus semester at the University of Vienna, where I not only deepened my intercultural skills but also gained teaching experience in Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary. These experiences showed me how strongly languages can connect people – and how rewarding it is to support learners from diverse backgrounds.

Along the way, I’ve worked as a language teacher at institutions like the Goethe-Institut and the Österreich Institut, designed creative projects around topics such as emotions, comics, and fairy tales, and volunteered with Train of Hope in Dortmund, supporting refugees as they found orientation through language. I am also a state-certified teacher of Chinese as a Foreign Language and BAMF (Federal Office for Migration and Refugees) -certified instructor for integration courses, with years of teaching experience at language schools in Berlin.

Today, I work as a freelance language trainer, project designer, and study counselor – in Berlin and online worldwide. What drives me is simple: those moments when learners realize they’re not just learning a language, but finding their own voice – in conversations, in projects, and in real life.
